Happy Holidays

Christmas TreeAnother winter holiday season has come and gone and I hope you and yours have weathered the present giving days well. Here in Central Florida the weather has been rather gloomy and my thoughts right now are with those who have been feeling gloomy themselves. As cheerful as the holidays can be for some, there are others who are reminded of those they have lost, what they do not have, and of the good old days that are no longer. With those who may normally distract them busy with their own holiday preparations and festivities, it can be even harder and lonelier. I would just like to remind you to focus on what you do have and the multiple bright possibilities of what may come and to look for opportunities to help those around you. During this busy season we rush around trying to check everything off our list, and even after the holiday has passed the stores are still packed and experts predict it to be one of the busiest shopping days of the year. Just that it takes only a second and it is free to give a smile, to say hello, and to be kind to those around you. Enjoy your loved ones and the time that you have with them, as I am going to do now! Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, or any other holiday you may celebrate!
